Sounds like an unlikely match, Turnkey Websites, Affiliate Marketing & eBay.
But did you know that eBay.com is currently the eight biggest site on the internet, according to Alexa.
Thousands of eBay selling guides and ebooks are sold daily and hundreds of articles are written on eBay every hour. Why? - Because people are actively looking for information and advice when using eBay.
So, it makes perfect sense to have your website centered on eBay. Content based around eBay articles, tips and tricks and general advice will be valuable content for both your users and will do wonders in any search engines.
But, did you also know that eBay run their own affiliate program & it pays from a massive £7.00 ($12 for eBay.com) per new registered user you refer. .
And the more you refer, the higher the commission goes. Up to a mega £14.00 per user at the top level commission rate.
Really, I can't think of a better combination, especially if like me your passionate about eBay.
Sometime ago, I was going to create a turnkey website based on exactly this, full of articles, faq, buying and selling advice complete with listings and affiliate links to eBay. But, for some reason I never got around to it.
However, an eBay and dropshipping expert Tim Knox has recently comes out with an improved scheme. It's called Daves Little Website and combines eBay listings, articles. Google Adsense & clickbank listings, all containing your affiliate information.
Every link clicked on, Every visitor you have to your site has the ability to earn you cash. It's a nice scheme, and has many advantages including
1) No re-occurring fees or annual hosting costs
2) One off low payment
3) Self updating
If you want a platform to benefit from eBays affiliate program, I'd be tempted to give it a go
