Although it's already bought us thousands of work at home opportunities, it still has the potential to offer much much more. There are thousands of people in the UK, who make a fill time living from eBay and much more in the US.
Take FatFingers.com for example which provides just one opportunity. Fat Fingers searches though eBay for misspelt words in auction titles. For example, televsion instead of television. Items spelt incorrectly will receive far less exposure on eBay so will most likely end at a lower price. People may search for Television but would be unlikely to search for Televsion.
Now, if you can't see the opportunity there allow me to explain. There are many members who consistently bid for items with misspelt titles. As they end for a lower price, they are simply resold by these members but listed correctly without spelling mistakes.
Almost every time, they make a nice profit from the sale and have a very quick turnaround rate. As soon as an item is received, they relist it back on eBay.
It's the same with cars. eBay now claims to sell more cars than Autotrader, but not everyone has will put in the same amount of care when listing their auctions.
A huge proportion of sellers don't even clean their car before photographing it to list on eBay. Now, I know cleaning a car is not the most exciting pass time but not doing so will put users off bidding. It will look grubby and uncared for.
Again, I know of a user who simply bids for cars that haven't been cleaned or those which are listed poorly. Hopefully you can guess what's coming. Yes, he's an arrangement with a valeter who quickly tidies the car up before it ends up back on eBay. Sometimes the car is bought and resold within seven days.
And I'm only scratching the surface of what is possible on eBay. I could spend an hour on eBay and easily find other opportunities & I'm hoping you can too.
If you've got any kind of eBay knowledge then it really is possible to turn it into a full time business.
