Edit Your Turnkey Website

It is absolutely essential to edit your turnkey website. Think of a turnkey website as a starting point for your Internet marketing career - this is actually exactly what I done when I originally purchased my first website from eBay (myebookshoppingstall.com) in 2003.

MyeBookShoppingStall has since been deleted and had all aspects of it wiped from the web, like it never existed. I just checked and the domain name is still available - perhaps I should register it as and keep as a piece of my Internet history!

However, the site was re branded and re-developed and is still doing well in it's present form.

After all, this was a site which originally had thousands of identical copies. Personally, any website I now develop only has a limited number of copies sold before it is removed from general sale, but seriously so many sellers had access to this site design it was unbelievable.

And that's why I knew it had to be changed. I added more content, changed the price, and made small general improvements to the site over time.

Doing so, I improved the conversion rate which resulted in more sales. It also made the site unique, giving it better search engine credibility.

It's the few people who realise this from the start that will succeed. I can sell ten websites, but only two out of these ten will request changes made in the website during the sale. Perhaps another two will add a few banners to their website, but this is the total sum of their changes.

The remaining six out of ten will do nothing. Make no changes to their site, will fail to get any search engine visibility or even advertising their site.

Overall, it doesn't matter what changes you make or what you do as long as you do something. You'll quickly find out if it works or not, by seeing how many sales are generated.
